HTC's Big, Fast M9 Smartphone: Why It's Not Enough
Smartphone brand HTC suddenly lit up world markets last year with its high-end One M8 smartphone, which sold on processor speed and snazzy cameras. That release gave the faltering Taiwanese developer hope for turning its finances around after three years of market-share losses followed by dismal earnings. This year HTC will try to dial back into that popularity with the release of its high-end One M9 smartphone but find that it doesn’t offer advanced enough new features to generate fame like that of the M8, analysts say.
